This is the website for the Chern-Simons reading group at Durham University during the academic years 2014/15 and 2015/16.
The initial aim of this interdisciplinary reading group is try and understand what the Chern-Simons functional is. Hopefully as a by-product the mathematicians shall start to understand the physics language and the physicists shall start to understand the maths language!
